It's been announced tonight that there's another outbreak, do you think it's the beef marketing board hoping for a good Christmas?

Blimey I almost forgot about Bird Flu.

Don't worry it will soon go to the cupboard along with the 80's AIDS scare, BSE and SARS. Never to be heard of again.
Yeah that silly AIDS scare - I mean there are currently only over 80,000 people in the UK that are HIV positive. Blown out of all proportion wasn't it.

The turkeys said NO to Xmas.
Puhhhhhk-puk-puk.
Achoo!
What are the symptoms of bird flu? Because I've been feeling "peckish" all day.

Symptoms? it must be like man-flu but not so debilitating!
One eyed sarcastic man. The advert for AIDS in the 80's said half the world would be killed by the disease. So yes, it was blown out of proportion and was indeed silly.

Therefore your unconstructive criticism come sarcasm is actually true, right down to the bones.
It will go into the cupboard... ...never to be heard of again.....

Yes, well done. AIDS has never been heard of since the 80s has it?
Where, preytell, have I said it has not been heard of since the 80's? The point I made, of which a three year old would probably understand, is when AIDS first hit the headlines a fear was set by the press. This fear never materialised and although AIDS is a problem for some, it is hardly the epedemic we were led to believe.
I support an AIDS charity, and it's still quietly spreading. Fortunately with advances in medication, the many HIV cases are not developing as rapidly as they were.
And if foot and mouth hadn't turned nasty in 2002 it'd have been added to the list
