i noticed a bit of debate over what they actually are . SO IF YOU COPULD ALL SEND THE UNOPENED PACKETS TO ME THEN AFTER I HAVE CARRIED OUT EXTENSIVE TEST I WILL HELP YOU DECIDE ONCE AND FOR ALL

just send them in i wont decide until i have given the jaffa cakes and the jaffa biscuits the same stringent testing methods

j5. We clearly need two independent researchers here. I vote to be number 2. Forward the spare jaffa's to me. I will help to ascertain whether they are cakes or biscuits.
The base is sponge-ish so they are cakes as in Jaffa Cakes:-)
But they are displayed n the biscuit section.

Trust ME with your Jaffa Cakes - I will give them a good & loving home................................
I thought the test was if when it gets stale it gets softer it is a biscuit, and if it gets harder it is a cake. Never had a box of Jaffa cakes last longer enough to find out which is true!
