is there any way to look after hostas in the winter because mine are really dieing!?

Think it's time to cut them back for the winter. Cut them back as near to the earth as you can, they will return again in the summer.
That's right, Hostas just die back naturally and reappear next year as they are perennials.  Try to take the dried up leaves away as they can harbour slugs and snails.
