i keep seeing the word 'lol' in amongst texts being submitted in all areas ..... what is this?

It means LOL, it is one of my favourite words, it has a life of its own. Normally associated with interminable coffee and cake mornings on Chatterbank, it has passed into internet folklore. Others include PMSL, SMSL, and PASMSL.
