I wasn't aware that they did.
What unsavoury experiences have you had?
That doesn't happen round here either.
Don't know anyone who would here either. Who's upset you?
Nope, nothing I've heard of.
there is no excuse to be homeless in this country
cazzzz, you are so wrong!
Because they (wrongly) perceive the homeless to be layabouts and wastrels.
okay, fair do's, tell me how is it that they cannot get emergency accomodation??
Is ther enough emergency accommodation to go round?
yes, most councils use hostels,b&b's and flats
then of course there is all the homeless charities
Louisia: Crum, do you receive the same turned up nose of disdain that I often see? Its tragic, isnt it? Indeed, it happens to me quite often. It doesnt matter whether I speak of Moldova, Romania, or Sussex: the face is the same.

More often than I care to hear, I also receive well-rehearsed words of wisdom from people along the lines of they brought it on themselves, or in the cases of those who have addictions, theyre the ones who made the decision to take it the first time. (I wish it were always true!)

I dont know if its of interest, but theres a diary of one of my experiences with a family. Ill provide the links below. Just a warning; its in my typical laboriously languid style. (So what have I ever written thats any different!)

I think the reason some look upon us in disdain is that theyve never understood what suffering means. Or certainly, in certain instances, theyve simply forgotten.
Its with that reason that I so dearly love taking people to Moldova with me!

Theland: Good morning! I havent forgotten about my response to you in another thread yesterday. Im just back for a short time, waiting for someone to arrive, then Im heading back out.

Be well
