Sudocrem will soothe it and help it to heal. It is good for a lot of things besides nappy rash, honestly!
Hello , you should either call NHS direct or go to your local A&E dept .. Stay calm and try to get some professional advice please . You poor thing , all the best xxx
You need to treat a chemical burn like any other burn, something with aloe in it is very good, but cool compresses. Should clear up in a couple of days. Test everything behind your ear or in the hook of your elbow in future.

Hi Bigmamma, used cold compresses all tuesday evening. The aloe cream was too painful to use, but found a tube of eczema and dermatitis cream in the drawer and it was wonderfully cooling.
Now have scabbed over and can see the damage will heal with limited scarring. Haven't been able to leave the house since though! Thankyou so much for all your help and kindness xxx
