If you are using Outlook express you could try highlighting one of the Asda messages, click on message at the top tabs, then create rule from message, in box 1 tick where the message body contains specific words. only this should be ticked.

Box 2 tick delete it.

Then click on the highlighted blue text, and type in Asda?

Click ok

Think this is the way to do it?

Hope this helps?
it's not asda ... it's spam
sounds like the bots have got in and are using asda's servers to send.

there isn't a "cure" .... you need to set up a rule to ignore all asda.com e-mails (set an exception for any chums who use then)

thanks guys. will do.
I would also inform Asda - they may be able to do something at their end.
I doubt it's from asda otherwise it would be something like asda.com or asda.co.uk.

It's just some random email address made up by a spammer.
I know what you mean sheila2155. I've been getting them for the past few weeks......up to 30 at a time but luckily most of them go directly into my spam box, but they are a damn nuisance. It's like all the international phone calls i keep getting. They drive me mad !
Sorry - I know the emails won't be coming from Asda, but what sheila2155 is describing is called 'spoofing'.

However, if Asda is aware, they may be able to take steps to get it stopped, i.e. informing the spoofers host of what is happening so they get barred.

Just a thought.
