i don't know if this is in the correct 'section' but i will post it just the same - it is a saying that my family have 'used' for as long as i can remember it is this :- There is never time to do a proper job - But there is always time to do it again ! I think it's a cracker and it is the footnote on all my emails.

Yes KORBYLOON - that's another good old favourite - when you think about it a lot of these sayings are simple, but by jingo they're spot on - cheers

if you're ther KORBYLOON, iv'e just remembered a phrase my dad used to come out with (for a laugh) "I've sawn this piece of wood twice, and it's still too short !
I've not heard that before I'll need to use it some time...
There is also another one which goes "A fool will try to go round a job four or five times then go at it head on".

hi JonnyBoy - yep that's another good one and i bet it's something we've all done at some time (especially when we think nobody watching hee hee)
