I bought some lean rump steak.
Mushrooms
Onions
Cut the steak into cubes and fry it off to seal in the flavour.
Slice the onions and mushrooms,and then into a casserole with the steak.
Make a thick gravy and pour over.
Cook in a hot oven for approx an hour and a half.
Make some short crust pastry.Either line a pastry dish with the pastry or put the steak and veg straight into the dish.
Cover with pastry and brush with egg or milk and bake in a hot over until golden brown.
