Bin Laden was also aware that Dodi and Diana were about to be married, as it was common knowledge in the Muslim world.
With so much known about the couple's movements, it was then easy for them to carry out their murderous plan and make it look like an accident.

Cambus - an interesting theory. I did not know about his Algerian mother , nor his invovement with the French Intelligence. But if he was prepared to sacrifice himself why would he not just have driven straight into the pillar?
This is a serious question and I am interested to hear your opinion. I have always thought it was too convenient for the Establishment, Royals etc. And there was no way they would put up with Diana joining the Al Fayeds. But I dont think that we wil ever really know one way or the other.

Cambus - after posting my previous post I saw your original thread. Sorry - They had to make it look like an accident and not deliberate - I see!!!
And of course the whole world knew about what was going on because Al Fayed made sure they did. Diana and Dodi were being manipulated by him. It would not suprise me if he was tipping the press off about their whereabouts all the time. What a coup for him! One in the eye for the Royals and the establishment. But if it WAS an accident, and he WAS tipping off the press then he should take some of the
responsibility for what happened.
