I do - but that's because i am older!

At 52, this is the music I grew up (and old!) with - but i do like lots of modern stuff as well - good thing, I'm a music journalist!

Good music is good music, its age is not important - neither is yours!
I would'nt worry, its just that you have good taste and a good ear for music. Motown, now your talking, dont make them like that anymore, in fact there does'nt seem to be any good soul singers around, although I think Lemar has a very good soulful voice. Cant beat the old stuff lol.
i'm 22 and love all the music you just liseted as well as recent msic. My dad is a great music lover so grew up with all kinds of music. Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Lenard Cohen, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Tracey Chapman and Led Zepplin all very high in my music taste.
Music should never be judged on its age, genre or level of popularity. The only thing you should judge it on is whether or not it sounds good to you.

I'm 38, so the music of my youth was between the mid 70s and mid 80s. I like a lot of stuff from back then, but I also like a lot of today's bands (not many of the ones in the charts though, sadly). I also like plenty of stuff from before my time. In fact, I even like a fair bit of classical music, and Mozart is even older than andy-hughes. ;-)
Im 22 also and i have an 'old' sound/taste for music, i think its due to your parents, you develop your own taste as you get older but the roots of the music will come from their taste. My mum brought me up on fleetwood mac, mowtown, Michael Jackson, where as when I stayed at my dads it would be the beatles, Pink Floyd, Bowie.
well when i was 16 i was mad on Andy Williams and Niel Diamond, having grown out of The osmonds and Amen Corner, but then at 24 i discovered Meat Loaf, now at 52 i will listen to anything that is a good tune but love Garth Brooks and most country.
