Hi
For the past couple of weeks I have felt absolutely terrible, I cant explain it other than I ache from head to toe, even if somebody touches my arm it hurts, I am constantly tired and cant get throught the day without having a nap, (its not cos I'm lazy honest!) I also have ringing in my ears and headaches my eyes sting and feel gritty if that makes sense?? Day to day things are getting me down i.e ironing, I do half the pile and then need to sit down as I feel so exhausted. I feel like my head is full of cotton wool and find it hard to concentrate.

A friend of mine has suggested I could have glanduler fever, I am going to the doctors tomorrow but wondered if anyone else has these symptoms and did they in fact point to glanduler fever? I am currently seeing a chiropractor for back and neck pain, although havent been for a while, is it maybe worth me going back to chiropractor?

Sorry for all these questions but I'm at my wits end, I've become very irritable with my husband and children and thats not me normally.

I hope someone can help as I have never felt so run down in my life!!! thanks xx

p.s I'm in my early 30's if thats relevent , thanks

sounds more like an underactive thyroid, get yourself off to your GP and explain your symptoms and you will be sent for a blood test, no worried if it is that, dozens of us on here have the same condition and it is easily diagnosed and treated, within 6 - 12 months you will be stabalised,

May seem a stupid question, but how are your glands ?

In neck/throat, armpits and groin ? Tonsils ?
I had glandular fever and it was dreadful............I lost a stone in three weeks and went yellow...........lol

A blood test will be needed to confirm... but I think you ought to get yourself off to GP asap, in any case............go to Chiropractor AFTER you have had proper medical diagnosis....:o)
