Which was the first team to sink in the Oxford and Cambridge boat race when both teams sank in the
year 1912. I have tried and tried on Google but cannot find the answer. Anyone out there who can help please?

A report of the race says that Cambridge gave up at Harrods as their boat was waterlogged. Oxford carried on, went later to the river bank, emptied their boat and continued. However, the Umpire decided the race be re-run. You may need to check my information.

I can remember reading this question but cannot remember if I found an answer, which quiz is it from?
I didn't find it was difficult to get the answer on Google. Just check out the 1859 boat race - Cambridge sank.

FoxLee - I did find the account of the 1859 race where Cambridge sank, on Google. What I am looking for is who sank first when both teams sank in the race of 1912. As yet I haven't managed to find confirmation of who sank first.
