People in China, Japan and all the other places where the University Boat Race is popular will be scratching their heads today after somebody (the beeb?) Changed the name to "boat races".
Not much to us, but I suppose in some translations quite significant....and what about cockney rhyming slang?

I think it was because they showed the women's and men's races - it used to be just the men's race that was shown.
