Following on from my 1973 thread in music, it has become apparent that my use of the words "wireless" for radio and "hit parade" for the charts is old fashioned and way beyond my youthful age.

However, I am aware that I do have personal traits which makes me appear older. The best one, which is a constant joke with some of my friends' children, is I have plain old boiled sweets in the car and not "midget gems" or "Haribo" etc!!!

Also I have a scarf that is not long enough to do the new fancy knot with. I believe it is called a "m-uffler" and is ridiculed by the younger folk I know!!! (I have spelled m-uffler, thus so incase AB Gestapo ban it)

So what do you do which makes people say you are old fashioned? Or if you are already old what did you do when you were younger which made others think you were in fact older?
