Wow, were i live the recent bout of hot weather is making it quite difficult to get to sleep.
Are there any side effects of not sleeping?
Should i be worried?
I am an insomniac and only get on average about 3-4 hours sleep per night if i am lucky.

Hot weather ? None here in Lancashire its chilly and still cardi weather. Please can we have some sunshine PLEEEEAAAASSSEE
I also do not sleep well. I have read that a side effect can be weight gain. It's true. UGH! I forget why though. too depressing to remember. I go to sleep fine, but can not stay asleep and can not go back easily. If I had a new born I'd be in great shape.LOL I take a product called "simply sleep". It helps somewhat, but it can leave you groggy. They alsomtake a long time to kick in, so i take them at about 7pm in order to be asleep by 10. I get up at 5:30am so I try to go to bed early.
Ask the doctor or chemist for something to help.

As someone who`s had sleep problems for years I can tell you it does affect your health. With me anyway, I get irritable, can`t be botherd & go off my food some days, and more inclined to get colds etc. Also it can affect any other medical conditions you may have.
