Hi 4get, what rain? We have glorious blue skies! And it's set to stay OK for the weekend. I don't really "celebrate" BH, it's not a big deal to me. Apparently we have "Super Sunday" here, the night before BH mon, where essentially all the local eejits go out, get wasted and hurth themselves and others! So I tend to stay in.
Sounds like everyone is set though :) I need some sun in order to flash my leg, 'cos what a waste of a tattoo otherwise!
redcrx, I had no idea, many congratulations, although not on the sickness: I hope it fades soon, it's not nice to feel all flaky and helpless :( thinking of you.

but no, im a biker (pillion) but have been down to Ryde for the scooter weekends (the in-laws live there), its great fun going out on the rideouts with the scooters whilst pillion on a fazer thou!

Hi, 4get! :o) It's really cloudy here, too. Hope it brightens up over the weekend.

Not much planned except we're going to an eat-all-you-want buffet in Northampton tomorrow. It's lurvely! And then a custard pie eating competition (it's a family thing) on Sunday.

I'm only working two days next week as I'm having a four day weekend to move out of home! Getting quite excited now. Have a good one! :o) x

Dear 4getmenot.
Thank you so much for reminding me about the bank holiday weekend. Personally, I get to work the whole weekend through, and every day after that for the next 18 weeks. But hey, the weather's fantastic here, although the locals aren't too friendly. Never mind, soon be home, hope the kids recognise me !!!!

Well I spoke too soon when I said I had no plans for the weekend .....the builders have just rung to say they are held up at a job and so will come to me tomorrow instead .
Oh well , may as well go into town now then , get out into the sunshine while it's there :-) x
