I don't think I have one.

Can anyone else explain why I haven't even been chatted up by a bloke since February? I mean, I'm not desperate or anything, but I'm just starting to get a bit paranoid here!

I'm not doing internet or speed dating. Forget it!

But I think you're right. I'm too busy concentrating on having a laugh with my friends to think about sending out signals. I also think my confidence is shot from my last relationship. I don't actually feel I have much to offer anybody as a girlfriend. But, time heals all wounds.
Champers dear, if you can do half the sexual practices you can name then you've a lot to offer any lad... ;0)

If your confidence is shot and you're still licking your wounds from your last relationship then now probably isn't a great time to be thinking about dating anyway. That and you will potentially give off 'go thither' rather than 'come hither' vibes.

Pixely speaking, I've always thought you're quite funny, rather bright and very nice, I'll defer to Octavius's judgement on your 'particulars' so don't worry about what you have to offer anyone, worry more about what they can offer you.

Have fun princess!
Oh I dont know Champs. It depends on the man really. Most guys would love a girl who is attractive without being self-obsessed, intelligent without being patronising, a good laugh and up for anything, but most of all good company, a shoulder to lean on in his tough times, and willing to be carried in her times of need.

Of course we all have some semblance of once bitten twice shy, but you never really sound the sort of girl that would dwell on that for too much.

ROFL @ China!! Maybe that's the problem. I'm a maneater in the bedroom. Hahahaha!

Seriously though, China, you're really striking a chord here. I think now isn't the time to be thinking about dating which is why i've subconsciously switched off my radar. I'm still healing from the last onslaught.

And I try not to dwell on it, Octavius, but my relationship did end in December!
Not hard to strike cords if you know how the tune goes! I was the same a few years back.

The radar has gone off because you're emotionally still drained. And I'm sure you said recently that you're still attracted to and have seen your ex out and about, apologies if I got that wrong. While you've got all that going on your radar will not be fully functioning for a while.

It'll all come good for you though. You're not the type who's going to spend a lot of time dwelling on this set back. Or at least not more time than you should dwell on it.

And just think of all those handsome men in the office you can now (or eventually) legitimately flirt with. The worlds your oyster!

Yeah I was still in touch with him until recently when I called it a day because I realised he was still toying with my emotions.

I think you're right. I shouldn't be feeling like i'm 'on the shelf' just yet. I guess when i'm ready to meet somebody again i'll give out different signals. Until then I will continue to stalk Octavius as one of my pasttimes.

Thanks hun. *virtual hug* xxx
The world is your oyster
But your future is a clam

Make sure that when you aspire to the Shakespearean ideal of the oyster-worldy-thingy that you remember what will come your way, may at present be shrouded in the dark (of the clam). So stop shying away and get out and see the light. Hallelujah. Amen.

I like clams.

Mmmmm.... cockles....
You're welcome love. xx
Well Champagne, looks to me like there's a few blokes here chatting you up. Now I'm another. Reckon there's enough about you showing through your comments to take a chance ...

Open the door of thy heart,
And open thy chamber door,
And my kisses shall teach thy lips
The love that shall fade no more.

... feel paranoid no longer. Just put a post here whenever you need some more.
Since I started a volunteering job in my local library ( I help people to use the PC's) I have been asked out more than if I go out for the evening socialising etc..

I think thay sometimes guys are a bit afraid to approach women and in a situation where you are talking to them, they see that they like your personality and take a chance more in asking you out.

Like you I have been single for a while and also not lived in my present area very long so haven't made many girlfriends. It seems the more you're 'out there' in general the more chances you have.
