I might consider going to glastonbury but you pay too mutch money to stand in the mud and listen bands you would rather not
I was watchig her act on bbc - she was brilliant. The massive crowd there thought so too.

I cannot envisage of any circumstance whereby I would attend such a dreadfull gathering.
Perhaps if you were mentaly disabled or extremley sad
I've seen the Who, they were alright. Not brilliant though. I think its just as well they are hanging up their hats after this, I think the Rolling Stones could learn from that too. David Bowie was faultless, during his set there but he actually didnt bore us with all the new out of touch crap he releases, it was the good stuff we wanted to hear (although not one sodding tune from Labyrinth)...... I also pegged it off the hill as soon as he hit that last note to catch the end of Basement Jaxx!

Im mostly all about the guitars but this is one of my best ever Pilton moments everererer.....and LEgend lol I was off my face. It was by far the loudest set I have ever heard.

are you not all old farts?
Blimey, when I saw The Who they were amazing!!! Not the same now though without John Entwistle!!! I've seen some right oldies - Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Paige & Plant, Motorhead - All of them fantastic!x
You can't beat the classics
Wish Johnny cash had done glastonbuty, my son and all his mates have all his stuff.
I remember one sunday afternoon, lying around in the grass (the year escapes me) and Willie Nelson was on, my friend was very excited about this. I snoozed through most of it and then jumped up because I knew a song, he had finished and they were just playing music between sets. Everyone else did the same thing too.

Going to see burt bacharach too was much fun, he couldnt make it last minute so David Gray filled in. It was wonderful.
johnny cash did peel stage years ago dotty
why does david gray wobble his head when he sings
it's the only way he can sing bob, lose the wobble and he's nothing :)
very catchy name he has too
bob, it's the only one he has :)

liopn tamer is ageist.

look out he wil want all the oldies banned from ab next
I have to agree with Goodsoulette and The Prophet - the essence of Glastonbury is diversity. A festival is a chance to see bands you like, and bands you don;t know, but may like - it's all part of the festival experience.

Seeing band after band that you know and love gives you sensory overload, and s you simply cease to appreciate them, so wander around and check out someone you don't know - thus is good music spread around.
everyone I know who was there and saw her thought she was great and they were there for the so called young bands - its good to have variety and if you dont like her go and see someone on another stage = I love her and fair play to her for doing it
