A raisin is a dried grape; a sultana is the wife, mother, sister, or daughter of a sultan. ( Or a small yellow seedless raisin of a kind originally produced in Asia Minor!)
Raisins are from green grapes. Sultanas are from black grapes. Currants are from a 13 amp plug.
