when taking the pill is it essential to take it at the exact same time every day ? iv been taking my pill but on sunday i took it at 10.00 saturday i took it at 9.00 and today i took it about 8.30 is this ok or should i stick to a persific time? thanks

no unless its over 24hrs late. the difference from a couple of hours shouldnt matter

I think it depends on your pill. I take microgynon (21 days on, then 7 day break) and I have to take it within 12 hours of the same time.

If you have your leaflet, check on it, if not, try googling the name of your pill.

I would think that within 90 minutes would be ok though

mini pill is different to combined pill.

Read the leaflet with them as it will contain all the info that you need.

If you are concerned then use extra precautions until such time as the pill would be safe again (again read the leaflet)
