over 100k in 6 yrs is a lot,but if its serviced regular and driven how it should be,then it could do another 100k,i would expect bits and pieces to go wrong in that time, but overall,if its running fine now, then it could run for another 100k.
Hi, high mileage isnt always a bad thing if it has been used on long journeys and run at normal temperatures, Cars that are only used to nip down to the shops twice a week wear out a lot faster. If its running sweetly you should have too many problems with it and should get at least another 10- 20,000 miles out of it
I agree with both the above except I would agree with Norm another 100K if you change and use good quality oil regularly.
oh and by the way if its a zetec engine its due a timing belt change.
Hi, I should have actually said "up to another 100,000 miles" as long as the car is well maintained. Sorry, it must have been a "touch of the sun"
