Hi
I’m in the process of selling my car, a couple in the next village viewed it at the weekend and decided to buy it after a test drive at full asking price, they didn’t negotiate at all. The car has been well looked after and maintained but it is almost 10 years old and at 135,000 miles, I expected them to knock me down a bit and feel a bit worried since they were very nice people and whilst I’m not aware of any major issues with car I would expect something to wrong, simply due to its age/mileage – should I offer a discount or just take full asking? Thank you.

If as you say the car has been well maintained with paper work, & you have given details as truthful as you can, you have done your bit. was the car serviced at your local garage? if so the persons that bought it may have seen your car in for any faults & may have enquired, you sound a decent seller so I would not offer any refund as I think you WILL HAVE TOLD them of any...

jo - never go into business - you'll go bust in no time!
No, just take the money.

For all you know one of them is a mechanic and has decided he's getting a bargain.
Take the money they offered, not your problem if they cannot bargain!
Make sure your receipt states 'Sold as seen and accepted'
Do not hand over the keys until the cheque is cleared, even building society/bankers cheques.
... but, if you feel a bit guilty about it, you could fill with fuel or have a service done?
Jo, take the money, after all they offered the asking price. If you feel a gesture is needed pop a couple of gallons of fuel in for the new owners. They might appreciate that .
Maybe you undervalued it !
Agree with Slackalice.
