I went to the doctor about this embarrassing problem and started using "Drychlor", it can be bought over the counter in Boots. However, make sure you follow the instructions EXACTLY as it is very strong and overdoing it can lead to irritation. I used it for a while (2 months) and it did work. However, I felt using something which was full of chemicals for a long period of time may not be healthy. So now I am using Sanex and wearing natural fibres (cotton) and have noticed an massive improvement. Cutting down or out strong spicy foods, coffee and alcohol. Using Drychlor helps of course, but its probably best to tackle the problem with other measure also.
