Just a question Wardy! Even with All that commanding of battalions or whatever they are called, the whole you say jump and they say how high. Do you really think that you could cope with one child under 5 and keep the house clean let alone 2 and have dinner ready etc etc? and you arent allowed to smack the child or bully them!

bigmamma, i know what you mean i have heard of some weird and wonderful ones(some i even think are made up!)(my nan&coal??). In the beginning it was roast beef and mint sauce(i dont even like red meat!) and then egg! Never been a big fan! But i used to eat egg mayo sandwhiches at stupid o clock at night. What about you?

Mammar have no idea who you mean?? SOmeone help!
To answer you in short goodsoulette, of course I bloody could.

Lock the kids in the bedroom with no sharpe objects and decent book, and Bob's your uncle.
Dervla Kirwan ! She played Assumpta Fitzgerald in Ballykissangel and I'm sure she's the voice in the M&S advert you don't like.
Bye all - off to put the Lemon Chicken in
Lots of love 3R x x

Goodsoulette&Joe, I do have quite a traditional view on roles. He works and brings in the money and i cook, clean and bring up the boy. However i don't find it easy and occassionally i'd like a hand! If he said jump i certainly would not be saying how high. I do believe in equality.(it also helps im maternal and not particularly career minded.
sorry for my delayed answer 3Rainbows but first I was feeding the dog and then my comp crashed !!! My crave was lemon curd !!!! My niece is due in sept. and she has a bad craving for mince pies , needless to say , my sister is madly cooking loads as there are none in the shops .
Dervla cannot say 'food' she says 'feud' and I have to cover my ears at that point...

In answer to the Q:

Butchers sausages (cumberland) with mash & onion gravy. Baked Beans for the one child who doesn't like gravy!

Followed by homemade rice pudding & demerara sugar.
Miss Rainbow, I agree! after all he does get days off doesnt he?
*Strikes WardMinter off childminding potentials list*

Awww give him a break. At least he is removing sharp objects, which is more than my mother ever did!
I will be going to The Lodge, New Addington Chapter, where on the menu tonight will be Co-op Wiltshire ham 2 for 4, steamed tinned pigeon peas, and Jersey Royal potatoes with the green bits cut out.
Hey 3R - Hows things hunny? Me and Emma playing Bingo on Wednesday night... reckon you can make it?

Dinner- I had a boring Pizza and now I regret it! I was looking forward to my Tuna Steak and salad and then I was tricked into having a pizza! Noooo

Btw .. very impressed with how you answered Wardy (Joe).. thought you would have started ranting about equal rights! I know you thought it... but am impressed with your restraint! Lol
Love ya. xx
Rubes, Wardy, if you have not yet, you seriously should actually meet in real life. A real friend knocking at your front door, and exactly as you had imagined.
Whiffey - What you on about?
Dervla Kirwan
