I have been looking a various sites offering the ability to watch over 2000 satellite tv stations on your pc for a set fee of about 25 for a lifetime membership. I am usually of the opinion that if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is,but I just wanted to hear from any Abers that might have signed up to one of these sites. From what I can see, it looks as though you just get access to a site with loads of channels, and you just pick what you want to watch. I am wary to sign up because most of them will not give a definitive list of channels, nor will they let you test it for any period of time.

Look carefully at the advert.

As you say, it does not give a definitive list of channels. The majority will be in foreign languages. The sports channels will not show 'big games' but school teams (usually American and Middle Eastern) and sports nobody would pay to watch.

The quality may be very poor - ok for two minutes in YouTube, but hopeless for an evenings viewings.

But why pay 25?
