Ethernet Driver Missing

Just got a set of reboot Cd's from Dell for friends pc. Loaded them and all working fine but no ethernet drivers so cannot connect to internet so

1 How do I find out what drivers I need and
2 Where can I get them from?

download everest trial edition from here: http://www.lavalys.com/
Run it to see what ethernet adaptor is present, then download the driver from the manufacturer. It may also be possible to download it from Dell if you know the specification for the computer.
