I've just read on the Beeb that Britain is becoming unhappier (link below).

Anybody out there feeling particularly miserable today?

Yes - look at my two questions ("Law" and "Jobs & Education") to see some of the reasons I am chocker block.
Good morning scotchollie.
I got up earlier with my usual sunny disposition and happy that it is a lovely dry day outside.
However , my mood was , for a while , dampened when I let my dog out into the garden only to discover that my garden lamps have gone !!!
Someone has light fingers !!
unhappy?
In last 4 weeks weve been affected by (not always our own property but ours and 2 neighbours)

mother-in-law in hospital
1 chip pan fire next door
1 major house fire next door but one
2 break-ins same 2 houses
1 car fire, spreading to our garage next door
1 attempted break-in, our house
both cars breaking down
vandalism to our motorbike, someone cut oil pipe
baby crx taken to A&E with dangerously high temp, turns out to be tonsilitis
bike breaking down

and yet, im strangely upbeat still, a bit stressed but happy all the same.

Perhaps its because i get to look at new houses now lol

Always smiling :-)
Very happy today!
My horse won the grand national on Saturday.
I resigned on Monday and am off to a much better job.
Got 2 Live Earth tickets today.

If I could box up some of my happiness and send it out, I would send you all some, and an extra bit for redcrx, that's too much bad luck, hope baby crx is feeling better!

I too, would like to sympathise with you redcrx. That is a bad run and hopefully you will soon have turned a corner.

All credit for remaining so upbeat.

Bigmamma, stay on here as conversation is both enlightening and illuminating! (Hope they catch the swine).

Paul, Miss I and Techgirl, nice to hear that life is good!
Thank you both, he is a bit better today and we got some sleep last night so feel a bit more human lol
Hi again scotchollie

Takes more than a few stolen garden lamps to upset my happy self . Yes , I find it brightening on here with so many lovely people .x :-)
I'm happy
scotch i will only ever be really happy when you come to live with me , when we can fight over who uses the computer, when we make lurve in the bog , and when you pay for everything like any good man should !
until then i wait for you (whilst still checking out other men) in hope

Hello redhead.

Illuminating, yes.

Helpful, certainly.

But making love in the bog, particularly if the peat cutters are still there, might be risque..!
