As a 28year old female who is about to embark on a working holiday to New Zealand for 7months this June, I would like advice on what would be most appropriate clothing and footwear for my travels Thanks

You will be arriving at the start of winter and leaving at the end of spring.

The weather depends on the area of NZ you will be in. Warm clothes and rainwear would be good.

yes, take a brolly. Winters can be mild and wet in the north to cold and snowy in the south or in high country; but the weather there is as unpredictable as anywhere else these days. Footwear much as in the UK - if you need specialist stuff because you plan to shear sheep or something, it'll be available locally. You might just get some decent beach weather by Christmas.
