I'm looking to buy a second hand 14in portable TV.

I've looked on ebay but the postage costs often are pricier than the asking price for the telly!

Is there a website that I can search for TVs available locally that I could pick up and therefore avoid posatge costs?

There are second-hand shops all over the UK stuffed full of 14 in TVs.
Better still, put a 'Customer Services' card up in your local supermarket asking if anyone has a free one to give away! (To a poor student, of course!). You'd be surprised.
