Thanks again for your advice on my mp3 problem. That program works well but I notice that when I rip tracks into a folder they don't save under the correct track numbers but seem to come in in alphabetical order. Is this a problem with the software or is there a way around it. Cheers again.

Are the tracks named correctly?

Open the Database menu, go to 'Get CD Information From' and select 'Remote freedb'.

You can set the compression format under the EAC menu in 'Compression Options'. I'd also suggest putting '.mp3' in the box labelled 'File extension for headerless files'. Just so that the files get the right extension.

I name all my MP3s 'Artist Name - Track Name'. You can do this in EAC Options on the Filename tab. So I use '%A - %T' but you can put what you like there.

Good luck.
