I have tried just about every site I can think of in an attempt to find my Dad.
I'm a 22 year old female and have not seen him for about twelve years...I hear he moved to New Zealand (not sure if this is true...) and I've looked through the New Zealand White Pages but to no avail.
I'm desperate now and have no idea where to turn next-Please help.
Thank you.

Hi Piglet, yes it was great to meet my birth dad - he was as nervous as i was but we went for lunch and he told me all about him and i told him all about me. I have 3 half brothers only 1 of whom i have met so far. Lots of ghosts laid to rest for me, curiosity well satisfied but we have stayed in touch and see each other few times a year but talk more often. My mum was against me tracing him saying she didn't want to share me when she b rought me up etc etc but i made her realise this was about me finding out about myself and she would always be number one and eventually she came round to the idea. We don't discuss him just becuase i don't want to hurt her. Good luck with your search, hope someone on ere as given you advice that helps

Hi JF, hope youre well.
That is so good to hear, it makes me all the more determined to find my Dad.
I can understand your Mums concerns, but as you said, this was not about upsetting herIt was for you.
It must have been sooo exciting to discover that you have three half brothers, that leaves you with more to look forward to in the futureIf you decide to meet them that is.
Hopefully one day, Ill be able to pick up the phone and say hi to my Dad and ask him how he isThat would be amazing.
Obviously there is the worry that he has moved on in life and does not want the hassle of re uniting with his daughter/s, if this is the case though, Id be happier knowing.
Does your Dad live nearby to you? Does he have a partner and if so, was there any animosity towards you from them?
Tell me if Im being nosey, its just fab to hear of a success storyIm happy for you.xxx
