The Alpha course is criticised for being too "pneumocentric" focusing on the Holy Spirit, whereas, biblically, the Holy Spirit always points us towards Jesus Christ. More on this and other criticisms in the links.
the alpha course is a religious brainwashing tool.I attended one years ago and I made it clear that I was a well informed sceptic (I had studied the bible for some time) "thats ok" they told me "the alpha course is for learning" It was no such thing.Once I started to question their claims I soon recieved the cold shoulder.People who run these courses are not open to difficult questions from well informed people.Once they found out that I was attending a spiritualist church as well they asked me to leave....and I thought these people were concerned for my soul.WHAT A JOKE
