I lived in Cyprus for a couple of years in the 70s. I used to ride a motorcycle all year to commute to work (20 miles each way) and could ride in shirt sleeves all year round apart from December and January, then I had to wear a sweater. No heavy leather jackets!

Look out for a few short heavy downpours during the day and some coldish nights during these months. I cant ever remember any frosts. It rains at other times as well, but still in short heavy bursts. Generaly, a light waterproof anorack and a medium jumper is the most you will ever need. You can paddle along the beach all year round apart from around late November to early Febuary. During this time the climate at its worst never seemed to be less than a mild English summers day. Perhaps in the low 60s.

If you go up into the mountains, look out for heavy snow. Then you need a warmer anorack (obviously) One moment you can be on clear wet roads, the next moment you are inches deep in snow. If you make it to the top it can often turn into deep drifts in no time.

Its a great land - you can snow ski in the morning and water ski in the afternoon. It can easly be done (I know, I managed it!) If you go, Have a great time!
