What's the difference between plasma & LCD??

Plasma is a gas LCD is liquid crystal display. The big difference, other than price is that plasma gas burns out after approx 30,000 hrs - LCD doesn't and you are less likely to get a burnt image on the screen of an LCD than you are on a plasma - thats if you have the same image on the screen for ages, it burns onto it so thats all you can see, like a watermark.
