I answered a question in good faith & find that my answer has been edited. The word '**********' has been removed. WHY. We are a voluntary organisation, self financing and dedicated to keeping a watch on those using the sea around our coast for their safety. We work closely with the RNLI & the Coastguard as well as others who have the safety of the user of the sea at heart.
Does the Editor think I am trying to make some personal profit out of this?

OK, from what I can see you're having problems having the word "coast watch, admitted onto the site.

Look carefully at the letters t, w, a and then the t in the middle of that word.........problem solved!
PS
It's nowt to do with Ed why the word's not allowed, the bots have picked up the swear word in the middle of it and it's been auto deleted.
I haven't seen the answer in question but is the word watch preceded by coast? If so, there is a word contained within which has been read as obscene T-A-W-T but in reverse.

Thanks for your explanations evryone. I hadn't thought of looking at the middle of the word. All is now clear, but still annoying.

I had the same trouble yesterday with Widow Twan... from Aladdin. It looked strange on Q and P as though I didnt know the second part of the answer.
Yes, the auto-censor can be a little overzealous at times.

Old punk bands, and TV programmes involving their name are a common casualty (as in Buzzc0cks), as are male chickens.

And also a certain town in North Lincolnshire, known locally as Scunnie
