I currently use McAfee for my internet security.
When I do a google search, next to the results, there is either a green tick , or a red cross, which indicates wether its safe to go on the site or not. If there is a red cross sometimes it says 3 red downloads, or 11 red downloads, or however many red downloads.

What does the 'red downloads' mean?

Thanks

I found Mcmuddle's site a nightmare of a tecnicolor complexity,
Maybe this is why you have a problem.
For what it's worth, I use avast! a much simpler free system, no fuss ad without menus that keep popping up. Almost every day nowadays it's auto updated.
