I get a message bubble that appears from my toolbar, but it only appears for a split second and not enough time for me to read it. Does anybody know any way of increase the time the the message stays visible

Not sure if this helps, but you could try a Print Screen ( key on your keyboard) when it appears then launch Paint and paste (Crtl + v) the image so that you can see what it says.

Unfortunately it appears at random times and dissappears so quickly I wouldn't have a chance to print the screen
