Its late and I'm not long in.
Before I start, I knocked a glass of wine on the thing I am writing on now. so, for some reason it will not let my write the letter that is after o in the alphabet!! my lato = the thing I am writing on now!!!
I was out with my friend earlier who thinks her hubby might be seeing someone else. He had an affair years ago with someone. Anyway, all involved know each other, have got over it and moved on. They are all nice to each other whenever they meet out and sometimes have a few beers together.
Anyway....she said she overheard a telephone conversation (don't know how) and he was in the ub with the woman he had had an affair with. She called him and asked what he was doing and who he was with. he said he was having a few beers. She asked about the other woman and he said that yes, she had came into the ub earlier to meet her dad and he had a few beers with her and others but she had gone now.
Later on he gets some texts from this woman....saying....
Its probably the drugs talking! I hope your up Sorry if your not!....Thanks for the advice, I've texted him now and will let you know what he says. If he says anything! please don't tell anyone what I told you. Im feeling a bit vulnerable now as I haven't told anyone. so & so was on the fone earlier telling me i could do so much better. but i don't think so. Anyway thanks for listening and Ill leave you alone now. But I will let you know what he says. Ive been drinking now so ignore me. you said it was ok to text whenever and I hope it is (hey my p has come back) just thought id let you know cause I really do love him. I'm a tw*t and I know Ive probably left it to late. Lets hope not ey. Give me a text tomorrow if that's OK

She sent a couple of others saying that she had sent a text to the ex boyfriend but hadn't heard anything back. That's she very drunk and knows shes rambling, sorry for involving him. Don't tell anyone what I told you about some other person. and that she is sorry to text him, that he is the last person that she should be texting but she just wants a blokes opinion.

Judging from what you have said it does sound innocent. After all he didn't deny being with her (and others) and he must have shown your friend the texts he received from this other woman so it doesn't look as though he is trying to hide anything, and besides,the texts aren't the sort that lovers would send to each other, thats my opinion anyway. I dont think your friend has anything to worry about unless this other woman wants more than a shoulder too cry on.
PS. this isn't one of your wind-ups is it?

Nah i think that sounds innocent, if he was hiding something he wouldnt have admitted he was in the pub with her. Sounds to me that she has split upwith her bf/going through a bad patch and that shes asking a blokes advice and it does sound like she wants that person back (who shes asking advice about). I think it sounds innocent!
