our ancient microwave has finally given up the ghost and we need to buy a new one.
looking through the argos book there are normal microwaves, ones with grills and combination ones with grills and convection ovens too.
is it worth paying the extra for a combination oven? are they any good? or will it just end up as another unused kitched gadget?

it all depends if you would use the grill function if you bought 1 with a grill
also go to comet/currys and have a look at the 1's on display
My last one has a stainless steel interior. This was all I wanted in my last microwave because I was sick of the interiors peeling off. I got a Kenwood at Currys. Easy to use, no frills.
We've never used the grill on ours but it is a stainless steel appliance which we feel is important......Viv & Ron.

Go for the simple microwave only option. I dont use the grill convection combination thingy. No one i know does. Its a gimmick.
