I work for Woolies and we had an email saying that a shipment of 65,000 Wii is stuck in Germany and we are not expected to get any in to sell before xmas. (god knows why its going to take so long, maybe they are just playing it safe)This may change though. We had a similar story told to us when the Playstation2 came out, but we got them in time. If we do get them in they will go to the people that pre-ordered them first. Look on the woolies website, if it says out of stock there, then the stores are out of stock too. www.woolworths.co.uk. Try all computer shops. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news guys. Keep trying and Good luck.

Oh i've given up- told Mr Boo he can have his main prezzy (aforementioned Wii) AFTER Xmas.

Ta for letting us know though :-)
My hubby works in GAME and they have an allocation order coming in this week, as do Blockbusters, so I think the best thing to do is try phoning every day if you can! Failing that I know that E Bay are full of them!! Double the price though!!! x
Boo i highly recommend getting a pre-order in somewhere now at least that way you have an outside chance of xmas.
Yeah, I've done that- Game said they highly doubt they'd be in for Crimble but fingers crossed !
I had mine on order at woolies from the 27th November. i got the games on the 8th and the console turned up yesterday. Id taken option of collecting from the store, otherwise the delivery would be a further 7 days.
When i collected it yesterday the girl at the counter said she'd had about 30 calls that day alone all people wanting to order a wii in time for xmas.
My Wii turned up yesterday from Argos. I ordered it on line on around the 30th November - I never received an email confirmation of the order and when I rang Argos the next day, they told me the order was not in the system and I had missed out.

Its still in the box and if it wasnt for the fact I was nursing a hangover I would be playing it!
Hello,

I worked in Woolies once, over the busy xmas period.

Why is the Wii so popular? Even I cant undertstand why its proving to be to popular. Maybe its because of the controller - its meant to be very easy to use?
