Video to PC

I want to connect my video to my pc, but no matter how i try it will not work. I have an analogue camcorder which i can connect perfectly fine.I am using a ( ATI Rage Theater video capture card)

Have you heard of macrovision? This is a form of copyprotection that would be stopping this. Thats the only explanation i can come up with. Try ATI's website and try and contact them, they'll help you.
