I am sure the answer must be MON, a people in Burma, but why? Can anyone explain please.

Thank you Crofter. The only problem is that I already have M-N which I am sure are correct
Is it Mon as in short for Monday , following Sun for Sunday ?
Sorry Ralph - So the clue should be thought of as "Church goers won't be happy when this follows"? I still think that there is something missing from the clue!

Mon is a word and needs a definition to complete the clue, such as at the beginning have "My scottish sun worshippers ...".
