thanks again thought it should be meow although not how I would normally spell and not sure about the sweet

Some soap... was one clue (answer suds) followed by next ....with a strong hold - I took them to be connected
I also wondered about pilot this crossed with 7 and by filling have answer gift horse so that's correct too

maybe last one is keep - haven't yet thought of anything better
