Can you predict Monday's Herculis Link words , given Saturday's shaded solutions ? All are welcome to enter, whether it's your first punt or you're a seasoned campaigner.
Hello to all Links game competitors, an exciting weekend in store as we reach the climax of our first monthly championship.
Sarumite currently sits proudly at the top pf the table, closely followed by ; addict ; gen2 ; Magyar ; rogerr and yelsel. With a whole host of others in hot pursuit.

Will Ontarioice scupper everyone with a transatlantic challenge, leading to a ceremonial burning of the original LINKS GAME rules and the transportation of those Ashes in a terracotta urn across the pond to Canada ?

I think it's fair to say that anyone could still snatch top prize with a Five Star performance this weekend.

All to play for then, as Crofter burns the midnight oil with logarithms, slide rules, and a home made super computer on which to calculate all your scores.

If the first person to solve the LINKS could post them here in the morning as usual.......and let play commence !
Thanks and the very best of luck to you all. :)

ShamrockBlue. My apologies for omitting your name from my last posting. Thanks very much for the last two weeks. Pity I missed the first two. Thanks again to all concerned.
I hope that I'm not too late to add my congratulations to Sarumite and my thanks to Shamrock Blue and crofter. After a shakey introduction to this congregation, when I made an ill-judged jibe which sadly backfired, I must now say how much I apprecate not only the help but the cameraderie to be found here.
I am also astonished by the scholarship and breadth of knowledge of some of you regular contributors.
Aquagility You're never too late! However, I'm intrigued by your reference to "an ill-judged jibe" but life is too short to pursue that one! I only know that you kept going against all the odds to predict some quite tricky links. Your final profile of (1 2 0 0) was slightly better than mine! I note that you made your best score of 2 during the difficult Week 2 (when that was the highest score)!

The beauty of the Prediction Game is that you are pitting your wits against Lady Luck. All the wisdom in the world will not give anyone "the edge". I hope that you continue to support us in our quest for the "Holy Grail".

Dudley Moore set perfection at a score of 10 - we are more conservative and set the modest target of 4 out of 4.
