My pc has just informed there is a new Macromedia Flash Player available ,what does it do and do i need it

Some websites use special programs to make their sites look better.

Two of these special programs are Flash and Shockwave.

But to show the flash or shockwave content your browser needs a player installed.

The programs are very small and are safe to download.

If you go to this Adobe site you can test they both work in your browser, and see some of the things that can be done with Flash and Shockwave
