does any one know how to downgrade to publisher 2000 version 6 .
the reason for this is that i have lost my disc containing this version and a so called wiz kid installed another older version , and now when i open any publisher files the message that " it can only open these flies in the original version " comes up .

You say 'Downgrade to Publisher 2000' yet you also say 'installed an earlier version' - I don't quite understand your quandry. Most newer software is backward compatible, but it can no way be 'forward compatible' because even the best software writers are bereft of a crystal ball!

It sounds like you must bite the bullet and buy the same version ( 2000 ) or a later one.

sorry i ment later version !!!! the one that has been loaded is version 10 every thing is ok apart from the fact that a load of invoices that were created in version 6 cannot be read unless i have the version 6 installed .
I'm surprised that it can't open older versions of Publisher files. Have a look around the menu, there may well be a "convert to Publisher 10" type option.
