My partners parents own a restaurant and would like to make some new menus. They have asked me to get them Publisher. They have Windows 98. Is there another package that you could suggest? I have had a look on Ebuyer and Publisher is about 60. Just thought that for the one off purpose that it is quite a bit of money!

Thanks x

I always found Word to be fine - and I assume they already have this.

I thought the same, but they are not very computer literate. With Publisher they can create a step by step menu.

thanks

I agree, Word is probably good enough.

If you set them up a template, then they can just change individual items.

You do not have to be too computer literate to use Word !

Of course there may be a free 'menu maker' on the web, have a search in google.

Microsoft provide loads of templates and clip art, see if there is anything here:

Consider Serif products eg. PagePlus.
r you could search for an older copy of publisher (on somehting like ebay or free ads). Publisher 98 should be available for around 10

Keep forgetting that Serif supply older versions for free (or in this case a 'lite' edition see:-
