Yes, in most of the cities and big towns. You can usually ask for English instructions, and then proceed as usual.

NO. Link is an exclusively UK system. However if your card is VISA or has the CIRRUS logo you will be able to use in spain. If your card is not VISA or Cirrus enabled and has the link logo only, it will not work outside the UK link network.

I think Maestro also works there.

Yes in shops and hotels etc, but Maestro will not work in a cash point unless the card is Cirrus enabled, ie. has that logo on the back of the card
