As much as i despise the Tories and the SNPers,i cant really see if there will be much of a change of policies if the Tories and SNP are ousted.The whole country seems to get sh*fted whoever is in power.

fascinating that you see it as a trap toratoratora. why don't you just say what in your opinion the party has actually achieved besides being in charge.

khandro gave us an example in brexit... which was something the party was forced into bringing about but fair's fair they did eventually do it. i'm not a fan as you know but on their own terms it is an achievement.

for the record i am very critical of new labour because of Iraq but they did have many achievements such as...

minimum wage

civil partnerships

independence of Bank of England

significant decline in rough sleeping

tens of thousands more teachers, doctors, and nurses

cut NHS waiting lists and reduced A&E waiting times

massive efforts to clean rivers and beaches

less youth unemployment

massive reduction in death from heart disease and cancer

what's the list for 2010-14? So far we have... brexit :/

Untitled, you forgot to list the abolition of the low-rate tax band for low paid workers, the selling off of our gold reserves at knock-down prices, the rifling of the 'working man's' pension pot, and the empty coffers at the end of it all.

he asked me about NL's achievements. i am very critical indeed of NL and consider Iraq an evil thing... the worst thing a UK government has done in my lifetime. but if asked what their achievements were then that is my answer.

we don't need to! tell me what you think they have achieved on their own terms... i don't agree with brexit for instance but it is definitely something they wanted to do and completed... alternatively tell me what you think they have achieved based on your idea of what is good other than simply being in office. what in your opinion do they have to show for 14 years in office?
